Manufacturing Material Handler

RESPONSIBILITIES

• and maintain master production/material plans used in driving Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and planning production as well as support SOP.
• capacity analysis, time studies, labor performance analysis, and cost estimating as frequently as needed.
• MRP requirements - release work orders daily or as needed with change orders.
• works in progress (WIP) and adjust production jobs as required.
• customer provided forecasts therefore allowing adequate production time for internal manufacturing.
• order splits, reductions and increases as required or as needed per change orders.
• operational needs and/or builds information, queue times, run times, inventory settings, build quantity, and warehouse information as needed.
• open work orders as necessary.
• of transactional data including but not limited to, closing of open operations, adjustments of pick quantities, ending of erroneous demand, etc.
• future work and forecast of flow on new work using the expedited reporting feature.
• internally as is required regarding any issue with works in progress that will affect customer requirements, commitments, and demands to be met.
• required meetings and present as needed with appropriate accurate data and forecasts.
• of transactions, reporting of issues or concerns and address important information appropriately and accurately.
• any department in meeting in meeting organizational goals and planning needs as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• CPIM and or CSCP training and certification.
• degree in business or supply chain with 3-5 years manufacturing master planning experience.
• of 3-5 years’ experience in Master Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning and Capacity Planning required.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience Master Planning in a manufacturing environment required.
• Must have Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement proficiency and/or certifications.
• Proven ability to read, write and interpret planning documentation, reporting and correspondence.
• Must have MRP proficiency – knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
