Key job responsibilities
Help define, drive and execute the content strategy for Amazon's 1P and Exclusive FAST Channels business
- Build a plan to have the most compelling content for customers
- Develop and document development and acquisition plans, financial metrics and goals for senior management
- Use customer behavior, usage and consumption data to inform decision-making.
- Lead all aspects of programming and negotiations, including content selection, financial analysis, forecasting, and technical requirements
- Build and manage relationships with key producers and content providers
- Drive continuous improvement in all operational aspects of Amazon's relationship with its digital content suppliers
- Manage all aspects of content negotiations regarding content selection, financial analysis, forecasting, and technical requirements
- Work with in-house and external legal counsels
- Collaborate with internal teams across all functional areas within Freevee (e.g., Marketing, Public Relations, Business Strategy, Finance, Operations, etc.), AVOD Originals development teams, and Content Licensing partners within Freevee and Prime Video
- Use behavior, usage and consumption data to inform decision-making
- Work closely with Amazon Video leaders to develop new services and product offerings
- Maintain a can-do attitude and a willingness and flexibility to solve problems at short notice, using any tools necessary

Basic Qualifications
- Multiple years of experience negotiating complex licensing or business development agreements
- Multiple years' experience in a high volume account management, content licensing, business development or finance role.
- Multiple years' experience with quantitative analytics (e.g. ability to use and modify data sets in Excel)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Previous experience in consulting
- Solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
- Proven track record demonstrating the ability to negotiate complex license and/or business development agreements
- Content licensing and/or business development experience in the US, UK and other global markets and territories
- Good contacts and relationships across the video media industry
- Ability to work with and influence peer teams internationally
- Commercial thinking with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Understand product and technical requirements and interface with Product/Technology teams.
- Entrepreneurial drive/initiative
- Must be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and getting things done, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Analytical and quantitative skills (e.g. ability to use and modify data sets in Excel, write SQL queries and export data, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of the TV and digital video market.
- Passion for film, television, entertainment, etc.
