What’s On Your Plate?
- Identify, monitor, analyze and report on current and future regulatory issues in all markets where talabat is active, that has direct or indirect impact on restaurant partners, or talabat commercial relation to them.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive public affairs strategy to support our business objectives and enhance our reputation.
- Manage partner policies communication and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with our restaurant industry associations and advocacy groups.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and public forums to promote our interests and address concerns of our restaurant partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on public affairs and policy issues affecting our restaurant partners.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that could impact our restaurant partners, and recommend appropriate actions.
What you need to be successful
What Did We Order?
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, political science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the public affairs and government relations field.
- Deep knowledge of the Middle East's policy environment.
- Superb English and Arabic verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate cross functionally while being accountable to public affairs matters.
- Proven track record in policy partnership/campaign building.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Tech industry, consultancy and government projects experience are preferred.
