Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Education / Experience: Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

Required:

• Current APRN Florida licensure
• Graduate of an accredited NP program
• At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a family practice setting
  

Preferred:

• Athena EHR/EMR experience

• Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• Regularly required to sit; frequently stand and walk short distances; occasionally bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, climb and kneel.
• Use two hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• All sensory functions (speech, vision, touch, and hearing) corrected to near normal range
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May lift or move patients.
• Potential risk for occupational exposure – written policies and procedures are available onsite. Other environmental hazards may include close contact with mechanical equipment.
• Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
• Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
