Requirements:
Position Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing required.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of sexual assault and intimate partner issues from an empowerment philosophy.
- Knowledge of forensic evidence collection best practices.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills required.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to women, men, and cultural diversity issues, preferred .
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Registered Nurse with current MI license required.
- SANE-A training online (or equivalent) required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays in order to fulfill 52 hours of on-call shifts monthly and one 36 hour holiday on-call shift annually.
- Must be able to respond in person to patients in Oakland County with 1 hours’ notice.
- Must have valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a clear driving record.
- Must be willing to complete and pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
