Job Description
Piping Engineer supports the Maintenance Team Lead in ensuring anomalies and Mechanical and Corrosion Damage Report (MCDR) are planned, executed and closed out in a timely manner.
Review / verify engineering drawings to ensure they are compliant with relevant codes prior to being issued as 'approved for construction'.
Issue work pack / work instruction to offshore prior to execution phase
Work closely with the planning department to help populate all anomalies / MCDRs related activities into the offshore look-ahead plans (28 and 90 days) and ensure work scope is aligned with major equipment outages where possible to minimise production losses.
