To greet and direct patients and visitors to the appropriate location and services. (The person should be courteous, polite & helpful to the public and clients; and thus he/she should be able to manage the front office area efficiently).
To register patients according to Bella Roma Specialty Hospital protocols and maintain medical records and report statistics when required and schedule appointments by explaining hospital policies and procedures to the patients.
Provide word-processing and secretarial support.
To file and complete medical reports and forms.
To respect & maintain privacy & dignity of patients, to assure client confidentiality at all times & to follow up on “no show” patients regularly.
To participate in staff & educational meetings & handle and manage the continuous flow of information in doctors' offices in the Hospital.
To organize and maintain forms and office stationary required for front desk activities and distribute the required information via post, courier, telephone and email.
To keep the reception area ready for each working day, open the system at the specified time and have all front desk activities fully operational at the start of the business hours.
To review and verify patient and computes the charges payable by the patient and to determine the financial status of patients and their eligibility for health services
To assist patients in accurately completing appropriate forms and documents for the required information.
To do the auditing of the admission report from Medical Record Department.
Participate in the organization’s quality improvement & safety activities
Treats each patient, visitor & employee with compassion & courtesy-
Participate in departmental quality improvement and patient safety programs.
Attend planned in house quality improvements & patient safety trainings.
Understand,comply and participate in hospital wide Quality, Risk management, safety, infection prevention program.
Understand and fully comply with Regulatory and accreditation bodies requirements
Report any Occurrence Variance in during duty timings.
Any other duties assign by In- charge/Manager of the department.
Answer the patient quires related to the prices offers and others.
Call back the patient for follow up, Book the patients for surgery .
Attend patients concerns and solve it if possible otherwise refer it to the higher management.
Observe the waiting area and make sure all the patients are attending the doctors on time.
