Develops design by gathering, correlating and analysing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards. When possible, collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project traffic models. Fully develops the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines. Participates in the interdisciplinary review of project deliverables, including master planning reviews. Works on detailed or routine transport planning assignments involving calculations, micro and macroscopic modelling, drawings, reports and tender documents. Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered. Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. Coordinates with other discipline Planners and Engineers as applicable for the design process's continuity. Maintains and develops the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring quality is continuously maintained. Coordinates with authorities for scheme approvals.
Excellent knowledge in Traffic engineering and transport modelling software (VISUM, VISSIM, HCS, Sidra, Synchro), Microsoft MS and Python,
Years of Experience: between 2-8 years of experience.
