Responsibilities
As the Permanent Director of Sales, you will be responsible for
- Leading, mentoring, and developing our sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry contacts to expand our brand presence.
- Identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing deals to drive revenue growth.
- Leveraging CRM systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or Salesforce to manage customer relationships and sales processes.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Managing the sales budget and Profit & Loss statements to ensure profitability.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives using ROI calculations and other financial metrics.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the spirits industry.
- Proven experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
- An existing network of brand contacts in the spirits industry.
- A strong understanding of finance, including Profit & Loss Statements and ROI calculations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
- A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
