Job Title : Databricks Consultant
Job Type : FullTime
Experience : 2 to 10 years
Location : Remote (Dubai)
We are looking for a Databricks Consultant who will be in charge of utilizing the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform to design deploy and optimize data processing workflows. Delivering efficient big data processing and analytics solutions working with crossfunctional teams and guaranteeing the successful execution of Databricksbased projects will be their main priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Experience as a Databricks Consultant.
- Experience with machine learning and data science workflows in Databricks.
- Experience with big data processing and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design scalable and efficient data processing solutions using Databricks.
- Develop architecture and design documents for Databricksbased projects considering best practices and industry standards.
- Configure and set up Databricks clusters notebooks and other components to implement data processing workflows.
- Develop test and deploy Sparkbased applications using Databricks.
- Implement and optimize ETL processes for largescale data sets.
- Integrate Databricks with various data sources and data storage solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Databricks workloads.
- Work closely with data engineers data scientists and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Databricks solutions including architecture diagrams configuration details and code documentation.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
