Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Chargehand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a group of workers in construction or manufacturing settings ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently safely and to the highest standards. This role requires leadership excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of the industrys practices and regulations.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to project specifications.
  
• Assign tasks to workers based on their skills and the project requirements monitoring progress and quality of work.
  
• Train new team members on job duties safety protocols and company policies.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
• Inspect equipment and materials regularly to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other supervisors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
  
• Maintain accurate records of workers attendance work performed and materials used.
  
• Provide feedback and recommendations to management on workflow worker performance and potential improvements.
  
• Handle minor disciplinary issues among workers promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing sectors.
  
• Knowledge of industry safety standards regulations and best practices.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
