Job Description

  • Develop the organization's Net Zero Transition Strategy, aligning to G42s national commitment to achieve NetZero by 2050, embodying the principles of: Transparency Relevance, Accuracy, Consistency, Comparability and Completeness.
  • Develop a robust GHG inventory to inform the G42s group ESG report, in accordance with international best practices and manage the independent verification of the inventory.
  • Develop a process and platform to gather data and report G42s primary greenhouse gases.
  • Establish geographical, organizational, and operational boundaries to ensure an accurate account of GHG emissions.
  • Develop and update existing procedures to integrate GHG reduction strategies into G42s operations, including incorporating climate change risks and opportunities into investment decisions, access to sustainable finance, risk assessments and procurement.
  • Embed ESG criteria, focused on GHG reductions, into the value chain, upstream and downstream, prioritizing partnerships with market leaders.
