Principal Pipeline Production Specialist Commercial Lead

• Provides leadership and direction through senior managers in welding engineering, operations and subject matter experts
• Is accountable for the production performance of offshore pipeline projects globally
• Measures and continuously improves the effectiveness of pipeline production operations and processes, maintaining and monitoring key performance indicators
• Implements pipeline production strategy and action across the organization
• Responsible for operational production targets and performance and ensuring that the production strategy is effectively communicated and implemented on all projects
• Maintains adequate levels of competent personnel with the department and mentors staff for succession planning
• Develops and promotes a culture in line with the company’s values through the functional group
• Communicates and maintains relationships with key suppliers and vendors for welding, NDT and field joint coatings
• Maintains an understanding of competition and innovation in the industry to monitor upcoming changes
• Other duties related to pipeline production, as directed by Senior Director - PPG
  

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Degree in Engineering preferable – Experience in lieu is acceptable
• Over 8 years within the offshore construction industry primarily within pipeline production roles
• Significant experience in rigid pipeline production
• Understanding of the Commercial Bidding process for Rigid Pipeline Fabrication
• Experience of engaging with multi-functional / discipline teams
