Job Description

  • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/sales specialists about ABB ELIP products and solutions across UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan and Kuwait
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues, sharing best practices and lessons learned, preparing and checking technical articles for publication
  • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems, ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries
  • Ensuring achievement of targets on orders, demand revenue, demand orders and profitability, supporting the sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers
  • Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating to the sales organization, providing technical support to the sales team during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and offers product/ solution/service-related training
  • Preparing/supporting the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements and designs, ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions are appropriate
  • Providing information for the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and participating in the risk review assessment as required, analyzing customer needs and competitor offers by leveraging general market information and insights provided by the sales organization
  • Analyzing lost proposals, identifying the potential cause and recommending future actions in cooperation with the sales/ business unit to achieve improved results, coordinating with local government authorities for approvals and vendor registration for all ABB ELIP portfolio

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree – Electrical Engineer
  • 0 to 1 years of proven relevant experience
  • Knowledge on Portfolio Management
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language is mandatory
