- Oversee incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, and follow-up to ensure timely closure of Corrective Actions.
- Provide HSE training to facility personnel, including management.
- Champion the Management of Change (MoC) procedure/process.
- Actively participates in frequent facility HSE walkthroughs, reviews, and audits.
- Complete internal audits and advise Management on corrective actions required.
- Provide timely and effective liaison with all site personnel to review and address all aspects of matters related to company HSE principals.
- Facilitates and actions tasks that correct and/or enhance the site's HSE compliance.
- Act as an advisor and resource to facility management for HSE matters.
- Liaise with facility management to ensure effective communication on all open action items.
- Conduct hazard-risk analysis.
- Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. Fire regulation, electrical regulation, hazardous substances and waste disposal requirements, Environmental requirements, safeguarding machinery and Occupational diseases.
- Coordinate for Industrial hygiene checks and fulfil all requirements.
- Maintain record keeping and document control requirements as outlined in HSE Operational Procedures.
- Work closely with facility personnels to ensure implementation of the HSE Management System (policies, procedures, and actions).
- Maintain contractor management requirements.

- Establish and maintain close relationship with OSH agencies to ensure compliance.

Essential
EDUCATIONAL QULAIFICATIONS AND EXPERINCE REQUIRED:
- Nebosh General Certificate or Equivalent
- Safety and environmental training courses are required.
- 2 to 3 years of HSE work Experience.
- Working Knowledge of HSE systems i.e. ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Experience in Incident investigation and completing Root cause analysis.
- Assessing Risks and implementing effective risk controls
- Experience in training HSE courses is considered an asset.
- Related experience is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English language
- Proficiency in communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work with all levels of employees including, shop floor employees, lead people, supervisors, and managers.
