Job Description

  • Prepare the goods checklist after the visual inspections of the goods received.
  • Carry out visual inspection as per the standard procedure.
  • Carry out all verbal and written communications in a professional manner.
  • Liaise with Supervisor to ensure job is completed in a timely manner as planned.
  • Familiar with NOV products and fully conversant with their assembly & disassembly.
  • Proficient in use of all components, equipment, tools & techniques used in a mechanical/hydraulic workshop.
  • Coordinate any fabrication / welding activities with the subcontractor (if required)
  • Knowledge of pumps, valves, and common connection along with system requirements.
  • Ensure NOV products are repaired / maintained to highest possible standard.
  • Duly fill the timesheets and work in orderly and timely manner.
  • Maintain good upkeep of company equipment, reporting any losses or breakages to your supervisor and keeping items locked when not in use.
  • Represent organization in a responsible and professional manner.
  • Engage in any other activities as requested by the department supervisor.
  • Follow and lead by example on all safety procedure.
  • Comply with all applicable HSE requirements.
  • Maintain and plan all activities as per the quality requirement of the jobs and as per the standards and as per the work instructions.
  • Ensure pressure test equipment’s are calibrated prior to use of the equipment.
  • Ensure duties & responsibilities are carried out in a timely & controlled manner complying with all regulations and procedures concerning health and safety in the workplace.
  • Exercise care of company and client properties.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of company and client affairs
  • Ensure the work areas is clean in a manner that depicts professional & quality of the company.
  • Strive towards continual improvement in all aspects pertaining to the company and its activities.
