Job Description
Rust Belt Resources has partnered with a national manufacturer on an Financial Analysis role with the organizations corporate FP&A team. The ideal person will have 2+ years of budgeting, KPI and trend analysis, and presentation skills.
- Assist FP&A Manager with retrieving and reviewing transactional sales and purchasing data to identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business and industry.
- Support the management team through the creation of ad hoc templates, reports, and analysis.
- Work with the various departments to gather, assemble and analyze monthly business results for presentation to the senior management team.
- Assist with annual and quarterly metric tracking and calculations.
- Assist the FP&A manager with the monthly business closing procedures.
- Prepare reports on financial performance tailored to the needs of leadership.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Study and analyze trends and forecasts to inform recommended actions.
- Assist with the annual budget preparation.
Requirements
Bachelors in Finance or Accounting
2+ years experience in FP&A, trend analysis, metric reporting, and support corporate finance function
Proficient in Excel and Great Plains (preferred)
Understanding of GAAP and financial statements
Excellent communication and willingness to present to leadership
