Job Description
Open Position: Data Scientist (MNC IT Company)
An MNC IT company is looking for Data Scientist to join the team and be based in the Selangor office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Statistics or equivalent
- More than 2 years of working experience as data analyst or business data analyst
- Hands-on experience in SAS, R & python with deep knowledge of analytics data preparation, modelling and mining
- Understanding in machine learning techniques and predictive analytics
- Experience in data cleansing, troubleshooting and monitoring; ensuring data quality and integrity
- Strong experience in creating data visualisation using BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau and etc
- Good knowledge in big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark is a plus
- Working knowledge in SQL
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
