Carpenter

Job duties and responsibilities • Assisting supervisors with structural designs, planning, layout, and installation. • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed for the project. • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully understand the requirements. • Undertaking installation and repair tasks as may be required by the project. • Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements required for the project. • Capable of assessing the quality of woodwork and materials required for the project. • Capable of operating and handling tools, machines, and other equipment required or used in the project.
