Jack Laurie Group is seeking a seasoned, experienced sales and marketing executive to join our growing company s leadership team. In this role, you are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue for all business divisions of Jack Laurie Group, and monitoring and reporting on sales goals, and adjusting tactics as needed to reach them. The Director of Sales and Marketing will also work closely with other executives to drive strategic direction for the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sales Pipeline Management - Will consistently review pipeline, point out potential obstacles, identify opportunities to pull business forward, create accurate forecasts
- Optimize the sales framework and tactics - Helping with sales language, email strategies, adjusting sales stages, continued improvement of Sales Playbook
- Define strategy - Identify ideal verticals, upsell opportunities, ways to provide greater value for margin enhancement and containment of sales costs to impact growth and profitability of the Construction Division
- Closing Business - Regular "ride-alongs" with BDMs to assist in relationship development and provide assistance in communicating the strategic value proposition to clients
- Recruiting a "Virtual Bench" - Weekly attention to networking to identify key sales hires for your next opening. Critical for Construction Division to scale.
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) on the buyers of the business products, how and where they buy, and their buying criteria. Maintaining a clear customer journey roadmap is key.
- Leads initiatives related to all forms of marketing, including digital, social media, and conversion marketing.
- Hires, leads, and ensures the ongoing training and development of the sales and marketing team.
- Responsible for achieving annual sales revenue, margin, and market share goals.
- Provide sales revenue and margin forecasts to leadership as part of the monthly financial forecasting process.
