To be successful in the role you will ideally have a background the transport, maritime or stevedoring industries with strong leadership qualities and rostering experience. The preferred candidate will possess a skill set that includes:
- Previous experience in workforce planning or rostering environments.
- Outstanding planning and organisational aptitude, prioritising tasks to meet objectives, KPIs, and timelines.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making with robust analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing workforce challenges and proposing creative solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant industrial agreements, particularly around the varied working conditions.
- Self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to the changing needs and priorities of a fast-paced business.
- Strong level of computer literacy skills.
