JOB ACTIVITIES
Imports Clearance
• Accountable for verification of import shipment documents & their accuracy.
• Ensure that MOFI regulations are met during the clearing of import consignments.
• Ensure compliance to MOFAIC regulations for import clearance.
• Ensure that Customs regulations are met during the clearing of import consignments.
• Ensure accuracy of customs declaration elements like HS code in import clearance.
• Ensure the debit card account for duty exemption is valid and adequate funds are available all the time.
• SLA Imports Clearance — within 3 workings days of vessel arrival.
• SLA Imports Delivery — post-clearance within 48 hours for dry & ISO tank containers.
• Supervise and control the activities carried out by Logistics executives regarding import operations.
Export Management
• Ensure the safety & security of all vehicles by following all guidelines set in PATROM
• Point of escalation for matters related to exports.
• Adherence to the global contract for freight forwarding and compliance to it.
• In- charge for the operations and stock in the 3PL export warehouse.
• Understand the customer requirements for the various facets of the business — in terms of the service levels agreements and freight cost etc.
• Supervise and control the activities carried out by Logistics executives regarding export operations.
• Be responsible to coordinate and communicate between the sales team and the plant for the requirements and ensure that the requirements are well met.
• Ensure daily communication to the sales team on the status of sales orders.
• Ensure timely communication to the sales team on the status of their export / local documents.
• Ensure systematic replenishment of stocks for the warehouse so that there are no stockouts for the products agreed to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate appropriately the responsibilities as listed above to the team and ensure the best results as a team in line with the expectations.
• Be responsible to implement the Quality Management System so that effective and efficient results are achieved.
• To ensure that the PATROM requirements are met by the Contractors including SAFE TO LOAD checks.
• To ensure that the vehicle planning is done takes into account PATROM requirements such as Driver Training, vehicle capacities, night waiver, route assessments, etc.
• Controlling consumable for the warehouse operations.
• Conduct ORM with service providers on a set schedule and take appropriate action on issues that arises.
• Focal point of customer complaints related to logistics– to be resolved in KISSFLOW within stipulated time.
• Update sales volume for PSL meetings.
• Personally resolve critical logistics problems in order to ensure contractual commitments are met and any operational impact is minimized.
• Verification of goods & service invoices.
JOB RELATED OBJECTIVES & ASSIGNMENTS :
• No accidents in the area under his purview.
• Maintain Export IFOT.
• Ensure the operations is as per the set SOP and responsible for its periodic updates
• Control Demurrage and port Storage charges.
• No orders to be missed out in the execution process.
• Overtime for staff/fleet/warehouse well-controlled and justified based on needs.

• Expenditure is controlled and managed within the history and trends.

• Implementation of BOE in WMS. Customs inventory should be matching with the TEMME inventory. Explanation on the difference.
COST MANAGEMENT (IMPORTS & EXPORT)
• Control demurrage and port Storage.
• Target for capacity utilization of import & export fleet.
QHSE OBJECTIVES AND ASSIGNMENTS :
• To understand and adhere to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibility.
• Conduct regular audits and walk around to review the potential losses in the areas of responsibility.
• Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by QHSE policy and Manuals
• To contribute, meet and improve upon the KPI and targets as set towards overall QHSE & Energy objectives.
• Selection and availability of applicable PPEs at all times and ensuring the strict use of PPEs in the work area of responsibility.
• Take part in the training program to acquire QHSE & Energy Management knowledge.
• Participate in the safety risk assessment, health risk assessment, planned general inspections, loss control tours, and other kinds of audits as per the TLBU QHSE requirements.
• Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
• Strict adherence to QHSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.
• Maintain 100% compliance on PATROM
• Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSE Charter & MAESTRO requirements and affiliate’s HSEQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all times.
• Demonstrates exemplary conduct, rigor, vigilance, and professionalism regarding HSE in all their activities.
• Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to the position’s roles and responsibilities.
• To comply with the TEMME Safe Work Permit program (as per the PTW roles and responsibility assignment: process owner/ permit applicant/ issuing authority and approval authority)
• Strict adherence to QHSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.
Contexte et environnement
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
• Will be the key responsible for the day-to-day handling of all export dispatches with the key objectives of Fleet management, meeting / exceeding the agreed service levels".
• Preparation & active involvement in Tender documentation for warehouse and transportation such as scope of work and contract reviews.
• Will be the key responsibility to handle all import-related activities including but not limited to interacting with local authorities and service providers.
• Conduct annual interim and annual performance review of the team in Import & Export dept.
• Act in day-to-day operations in absence of Sr. Executive exports and imports.
