What youll do
  • Develop technical and functional expertise across the range of Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite for prescriptive and/or customized software implementations
  • Develop and test artifacts in the implementation arena of data conversion, integration, and product customization
  • Apply relevant Oracle methodologies and best practices in order to implement Oracle Retail products and technology to meet customer specifications
  • Follow standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and data and deliver technical solutions on applications and technology installations
  • Structure and perform analysis, and conduct primary research, to uncover the insights that support our recommendations to clients
  • Continuously develop depth and breadth of Retail domain knowledge
  • Develop presentation and client relationship skills
  • Be available both at team/ client meetings, and determine the most practical way to drive lasting results based on insights
  • Contribute to your practice area through identification and creation of implementation focused deliverables
  • Leverage and enhance existing business processes to implement Retail Solutions
  • Facilitate the logging, reporting, and resolution of product-related issues
  • Complete required weekly administrative tasks including individual status reports and time and expense entry in the required applications


Requirements

What youll bring
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of development experience in IT
  • Functional Skill in any one of the Oracle Retail applications RMS, RPM, Allocations, ReIM, ReSA, WMS, RIB, RTM, OMS, RA, SIOCS
  • Technical Skill SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Java, Shell Scripting, Pro*C, Oracle Forms, BI Publisher, Oracle Data Integrator, ADF, R Code, ETL Tool, ODI, Oracle Reports, Python, Conversion, Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
  • A proactive nature and high attention to detail and ability to work as a team-player
  • Solid technical skills in Oracle Forms and PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting
  • Client facing skills, hence consulting experience is a must
  • Willingness to travel or to work temporarily on different time zones
  • Should possess implementation experience preferably for a retailer
  • Self-motivated, tenacious with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Passion for learning and a desire to develop technical and consultative skills
  • Effective written and verbal communications to work collaboratively with project and practice teams and client stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal/networking skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A polished and professional image
  • Willingness to learn Oracle Retail and build Retail domain competencies
  • Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
