- Enthusiasm to further develop and learn corporate finance principles, techniques and methodologies covering valuations, financial due diligence, business modelling, M&A, debt advisory etc.
- Strong business intelligence and foundation knowledge of latest industry trends.
- Should be proactive with staff and clients and be able to work under pressure to meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation capability.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (Arabic will be a plus but not a pre-requisite).
- Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, numeracy and problem solving skills.
- Identify and discuss issues with the team leader on a timely basis.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience within corporate finance / transaction advisory practice/ investment banking
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputable university
- Professional qualification preferred (e.g. CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA / CFA / CBV / ASA)
