Title: Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure

Job description: - Provide vision, strategy and direction to the Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams to deliver best in class solutions, service, and support
- Oversee and lead daily IT Operations to Industry Standards such as ITIL including networks, server operations, telephony services, cloud, collaboration technology, etc. to agreed uptime, capacity, and performance SLAs
- Deliver IT Compliance and Governance in line with the Company's IT Manual including Reconciliations, Continuity, Security, Change Management, Asset Management and Project Management.
- Manage and ensure compliance with the IT Infrastructure Change Management Process including Planning, Communication, Risk Assessment, Execution and Validation.
- Manage Problem and Incident Response for infrastructure, security, and related events including communications, root cause analysis and resolution
- Manage Customer Service Requests and Incidents assigned or escalated to the IT Operations to agreed SLAs in coordination with the Service Delivery Manager
- Prepare and maintain documentation of infrastructure, including diagrams and configuration information
- Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance for SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all services offered by the team
- Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to ensure high performance and availability
- Develop, Update and Lead ongoing operational readiness and Disaster Recovery activities
- Develop and maintain a well-trained staff, both individually and collectively
- Manage all aspects of team function and be accountable for team performance, including setting goals to drive team and self to achieve challenging goals
- Ensure an accurate inventory is maintained for all assets, services, and contracts
- Affect tactical and strategic changes to continually improve performance
- Establish, maintain, and manage key vendor relationships and support contracts for related technical systems, hardware, and software
- Understand and anticipate customer’s needs, take action to provide high quality solutions and exceed expectations
- Act with entrepreneurial spirit, taking creative approaches to accomplishing goals and demonstrate achievement orientation
- Pursue and cultivate effective working relationships, work in partnership to achieve goals
Experience/Skills:
The Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure should have:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT leadership
- Proven track record operationalizing and automating IT
- Extensive experience in architecting networks, infrastructure, and security by design
- Experience working, building, and securing manufacturing environments
- Proven functional and project management experience
- Broad knowledge in IT systems and infrastructure
- Experience in setting technical directions and strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated decision making abilities and problem resolution skills
- Strong people management skills. Proven ability to develop talent and teams
- Exceptional service orientation, with an outward focused mindset on the needs of the business and internal customers.
