Project Manager

• Reporting Directly to Division Managers (equivalent to Vice President)
• Managing Client high-risk projects and providing delivery assurance
• Leading a project team assembled from different parts of CPD and Client
• Planning, coordinating, monitoring, and taking action to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective completion of projects from business case approval to handover to Operations & Maintenance team
• Ensuring safety is the priority and continuously demonstrated by behavior and culture of everyone involved in the project
• Setting and meeting senior management expectations for project delivery in terms of time, cost, quality, and benefits realization
• Identifying issues and risks and pro-actively managing to avoid surprises
• Keeping Division Manager well informed of progress and rising issues, seeking early support when necessary
• Regularly visiting project sites to ensure good safety practices and to appraise performance
• Personally engaging consultant resident engineer and contractor to assess progress and resolve issues in a timely manner

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Supplementing existing Client resources
• Providing additional capacity to meet a growing capital delivery portfolio
• Demonstrating best practices in project management
• Setting a high benchmark for project assurance in line with stakeholder expectations
• Providing additional full time site management presence for high-risk projects

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Requires proficiency in the application of Project Management services, practices, and techniques, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in Reporting, Managing, leading project team and providing project delivery assurance.
• Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory and personnel administrative functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• UAE experience constructing new assets is important – client project management experience is ideal but not required
• Presentation and management skills.
• Working under pressure, multitasks and support multi projects
