We need an experienced Innkeeper for our beautiful, historic manor-style bed & breakfast inn. The Innkeeper will report to the out-of-state corporate owners, run the Inn, and supervise a team of Innkeepers and staff. Inn room lodging is available until nearby housing is found.
Bed & Breakfast Innkeeper Requirements:
- Able to be a gracious host under pressure and in the thick of it
- At least five years of experience managing an upscale Inn, B&B, or boutique hotel with at least 15 accommodations, a team of at least six full-time employees, and an upscale dining room that is open to the public
- Full responsibility for operations and guest relations, including reservation system, front desk, inventory, cleaning, maintenance, team development, and inbound/outbound communications
- Tech savvy with prior responsibility for sales, digital and local marketing, Internet review sites, and general brand ambassador
- Works hand-in-hand with corporate with a focus on strategic development, team leadership, and maintenance
- No smoking on the property
Bed & Breakfast Innkeeper Compensation:
- Base salary in the $60,000 to $80,000 range, depending on experience
- Companies pays 20% of healthcare
- Discretionary incentive bonus
