HSE-Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support in implementation and management of HSEMS / Processes for the company in line with company HSE Standard Guidelines at all O&M and Project Site activities.
  
• Participate in Review Projects, Operation and Maintenance related reports, Method statements, work procedure documents, and presentations of contractors and consultants as required. Signing off / endorsing/reviewing site HSE documents such as Permits /WMS Requirements / JSA & Formal Risk Assessments.
  
• Attends and participates in accident management and investigation as and when required.
  
• Conducts comprehensive HSE site inspections as per the inspection program, and monitors action status and closeouts of action.
  
• Implementation of Incident and Crisis Management & Response Plans / Drills and exercises at the site.
  
• Review HSE statistics, KPIs / reports of company & Contractors and compile the same for corporate reporting.
  
• Provides input, and maintain records for monthly and annual HSE inspection and site visit report.
  
• Participates in Emergency and Incident as on Call.
  
• Ensures that all related HSE activities are carried out in a consistent and harmonized way across all the Sites and conform to applicable Local, Federal Laws, Regulations, and company Standards.
  
• Supervises and controls the activities of assigned personnel and contractors, including allocating work and determining priorities on HSE matters.
  
• Carry out HSE audit including CONTRACTOR HSE Performance audits/inspection and ensures its implementation and follow-up of action items.
  
• Carry out Surveillance inspections.
  
• HSE Violation management. Violation/ Cease and desist/patrolling follow-up, closeout
  
• Carries out HSE training and inductions as and when required including engagement sessions with PTW users / Third Parties working near the asset
  
• Monitor the implementation of the company HSE Work Management System / Standards.
  
• Monitor the implementation of HSE & Safety Assurance programs and plans.
  
• Site Verification of HSE corrective action and preventive action.
  
• Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  
• IVMS Spot checks / RAG Management
  

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or the petrochemical industry
  
• Excellent knowledge of HSE principles and techniques
  
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  
• Experience in HSE Management Systems
  
• Good knowledge of international HSE standards relevant to City Gas Distribution.
  
• Exposure to HSE Studies e.g. HAZID, TRA, JSA, and other compliance-related studies.
  
• Experience in projects HSE through EPC construction, Operation & Maintenance phases.
  
• Experience in site inspection, audit, and monitoring of HSE requirements.
  
• Experience in the delivery of HSE-related training e.g., induction, and Permit to Work shall be added advantage
  
• Good communication and presentation skills & Technical Report Writing
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & decision-making ability.
  
• Must be fully conversant with HSE Management Systems requirements.
  
• Review HSE Deliverables, documentation for EPC, and Operation & Maintenance Phases.
  
• Familiarity with risk assessment techniques (HAZID, JSA.TRA etc.)
