Senior Search Engineer

Identify new libraries / patterns / platforms that we should study / adopt in order to continuously improve our architecture.
• Implement high-quality solutions within a timely manner and design and built to last and scale.
• Cost, Performance and Security assessments.
• Translating designs and requirements into API skeletons and component architectures.
• Owns the search infrastructure (search engine) and moves it to the next level.
• Mentor and lead more junior members of the engineering team.
• Be a strong advocate for avoiding accidental complexity when designing processes & systems.
• Develop clean and effective engineering and search infra solutions to our business problems.
• Contribute to planning, roadmaps, integration and migration plans.

Job Requirements:
• Proficiency with apache Solr and Solrcloud, and hands on setting up a search engine from scratch.
• Good in understanding all the search problems and helps finding solutions.
• Ability to monitor and debug current search engines and find solutions to make it better.
• A self directed personality and ability to work independently
