Staff Nurse - Outpatient Orthopedics

Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Staff Nurse Outpatient with experience handling Orthopedic cases, to be based in Abu Dhabi. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Provides nursing care, patient support, and patient/family teaching according to accepted Nursing standards, approved competencies, nursing policies and procedures.
• Assesses patients and observes responses to interventions; notifies physician accordingly and completes documentation in a timely manner
• Performs tasks and duties within the scope of knowledge, skills and experience required for the job and as deemed competent.
• Administers and documents medications, infusions, narcotics and control drugs as per policy.
• Work and liaise with consultant users and other disciplines as appropriate within the hospital, always striving to provide high quality service.
• To maintain flexibility within the department to ensure the safe and successful running of the Outpatient Department in the meeting of its patient s and consultant user s needs.
• Monitored patient progress and adherence to outpatient care plans
• Documented and updated patient data on a regular basis.

Requirements

To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing
• With valid license from home country
• Eligible to work in Abu Dhabi; having HAAD license
• At least 2 years of experience in a day surgery centre / large hospital within Outpatient Department
• Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
• Willing to work for 48 hours in one week
• Willing to do on-calls / Overtime, if highly needed
