Digital Content Intern, Cond Nast Traveller ME (Unpaid)

Cond Nast Traveller Middle Easts hugely successful website cntravellerme.com is looking for an enthusiastic and organised digital content intern to support the busy editorial team. The role is a great way to gain editorial experience within a successful consumer-facing travel environment.

Working alongside the team behind the Middle East s best luxury travel magazine, you will use our content management system to upload and publish content daily across cntravellerme.com, along with pithing and writing your own original articles. You will be responsible for keeping the team up to date with national and international cultural events, and you will be expected to contribute content ideas to help inform the digital content plan. In return, you will get to work at one of the world s most respected and known brands and have opportunities for hotel says, restaurant reviews and international travel.

Requirements

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Uploading content from Cond Nast Traveller magazine - creating and optimising online versions of print features - as well as uploading new digital pieces, updating existing online content.
  
• Occasionally updating some of our regular online franchises, and at times writing restaurant or hotel reviews.
  
• Write at least 1-2 articles a day and post to the website with strong SEO and images
  
• Stay on top of travel trends and ideas and proactively pitch and brainstorm ideas for the website and magazine
  
• Assist with photo research across print, digital, and social
  
  

Requirements:

• An active interest in digital travel and cultural journalism
  
• Proven writing experience and a commitment to making deadlines a strong writer with attention to detail
  
• Strong understanding of SEO and digital best practices
  
• A portfolio of published articles or writing samples
  
• Experiences using content management systems (desirable)
