Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a technology retailer company. Our client is looking to hire an Buyer - Merchandiser who will beresponsible to handle entire buying in the merch department, to increase market share by exploiting opportunities to maximize profitability and sales growth through effective selection of product, stock management, merchandising and expense control.
In addition to that you the candidate will take ownership of:
- Range Planning & New Product Launches
- Sales, Margin & Profitability
- Financial & Commercial Planning
- Product Offer & Presentation
- Stock Management
- Vendor Relationships
- Ecommerce
- Marketing & Advertising
- Leadership & Team Development
- Liaison with marketing manager on marketing efforts, product knowledge, product selection, merchandising
- Provides appropriate feedback and coaching to assigned associates in order to address performance areas in need of development and improvement
- Preparing reports and analysis for reorders
- Evaluating market trends and price of goods and supplies in the market
Requirements
- Proven work experience for 5+ years as Buyer-Merchandiser
- Degree in Business Management or relevant field
- Analyzing reports and strategizing future plans for orders
- Be able to communicate with written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment
