Job Description
Sr. Procurement Engineer
Jobs at this level are engaged in activities leading to the acquisition of a range of materials and services from approved sources to the specifications required.
- Receives Purchase Request.
- Prepares bidders list.
- Receives vendor s bids.
- Refers technical clarifications to bidder.
- Clarifies commercial exceptions.
- Prepares commercial evaluations
- Prepares bid tabulation.
- Prepares all standard documentation.
- Initiates insurance cover.
- Reviews Purchase Orders.
- Attends meetings.
- Compliance in accordance with HSE
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering is a must
- 10+ year s procurement experience.
- Computer literate.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
- Communication skills.
- Commercial awareness.
