Job Description

- Installs, monitors performance and maintains various HVAC, laundry and kitchen related equipment (e.g. Chillers, Air handling units, fan coil units , refrigeration systems , split AC units , package and split ducted AC units etc.,) for hazards, adjustments or replacement.
- Interprets plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications or verbal instructions.
- Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals.
- Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
- Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in your field and attending workshops as required.
- Assistant AC technician may work with his assistant and other maintenance workers such as Carpenter, Plumber, or Painter to complete an assigned task.
- Supervises compliance with standards of safety.
- Periodically checks all the HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment for preventive maintenance.
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
- Provides or promotes people centered care.
- Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.
- Will have to perform other duties as assigned.
