Our client a renowned hospitality establishment in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Waitress to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
As a Waitress you will be responsible for providing top-quality service to customers ensuring a positive dining experience. You will interact directly with guests taking orders serving food and beverages and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they arrive providing a friendly and attentive experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with the restaurants standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area including tables chairs and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries concerns and complaints about professionalism and courtesy.
- Upsell additional items such as desserts or beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu including daily specials and provide recommendations to guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties including setting up and cleaning tables.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelors degree in hospitality or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Waitress or in a similar customer service role (preferably in the hospitality industry.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should be 54 in height.
- No visible tattoos.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and service techniques.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends/ Split shift.
- A valid UAE work permit is preferred (if applicable).
