Veterinary Surgeon

Pet Well Veterinary Clinic, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is a leading provider of veterinary services dedicated to promoting animal wellness. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to companion animals, ensuring their well-being and health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations on pets to provide accurate diagnoses

- Perform a range of medical procedures, including surgeries, vaccinations, and dental treatments

- Offer guidance to pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare, and general wellness

- Collaborate with veterinary assistants and colleagues to optimize patient care

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

- Maintain detailed medical records for all patients

Requirements & Skills:

- Possession of a valid UAE veterinary license MOCCA or eligibility for licensing

- 5+ years of practical experience working with dogs and cats; knowledge of exotic pets is advantageous

- Proficiency in diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and preventive care

- Strong communication skills with a focus on client care

- Demonstrated compassion and dedication to animal welfare

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

- Flexibility to handle emergency cases and varied work shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with birds, reptiles, and small mammals

- Additional certifications in specific veterinary specialties
