Supervise electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at site ensuring safe execution accurate testing and achievement of the project schedule.
- Provide day-to-day field support for SAT energization and functional testing.
- Supervise technicians and subcontractors working on SMCC MCC SCADA transformers switchgear motors and heater testing.
- Prepare testing dossiers drawings single-line diagrams schematics procedures test sheets and tool packages.
- Ensure testing procedures are strictly followed and results are correctly documented.
- Arrange PPE PTW toolbox talks LOTO barricading and access controls and manage commissioning-related HSSE risks.
- Monitor manpower progress and spares; report deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot defects and coordinate solutions with engineering construction HSE vendors and other disciplines.
- Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Practical experience in electrical commissioning SAT energization and functional testing.
- Experience supervising technicians and subcontractors at project sites.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
