Superintendent - Construction (EIT)
Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC Construction
Department: Construction / Project Execution
Direct Electrical Instrumentation and Telecommunications construction across assigned areas coordinating resources and interfaces to achieve safe system completion.
Lead supervisors and subcontractors delivering electrical instrumentation and telecommunications installations.
Plan area priorities manpower and equipment against construction and system completion milestones.
Coordinate cable containment cable installation equipment erection instrument installation and related interfaces.
Confirm engineering material access and permit readiness before releasing work fronts.
Monitor productivity contractor performance and short term recovery actions.
Coordinate inspections testing readiness and punch clearance with QA/QC and commissioning teams.
Enforce permit isolation and energization controls within the approved authorization structure.
Report progress constraints and completion risks to construction management.
Degree or diploma in Electrical Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
12 years in EIT construction including 5 years in site leadership or superintendent responsibilities.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
