Store Manager – Hypermarket Group
Department: Store Operations
Reports To: Area Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing overall hypermarket operations including sales inventory staff management customer service compliance and store profitability while ensuring company standards and SOPs are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations across grocery fresh food bakery butchery non-food electrical and cashier departments.
Achieve store sales profitability and customer satisfaction targets.
Monitor inventory stock availability FIFO/FEFO shrinkage and wastage control.
Manage staff scheduling training performance and department supervision.
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated complaints.
Maintain UAE health safety food safety HACCP and municipality compliance.
Oversee loss prevention security CCTV and asset protection.
Ensure visual merchandising planograms pricing and store presentation standards.
Manage cash reconciliation expenses vendor coordination and store reports.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for the Area Manager.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Store Manager in a hypermarket/supermarket environment in GCC
Strong knowledge of retail operations inventory control and team management.
Good understanding of UAE retail standards food safety and compliance requirements.
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
