Senior QAQC Engineer, Mechanical, MEP-HVAC

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with company and client requirements.
• Conduct inspection and testing of mechanical works including piping HVAC firefighting systems equipment installation and structural components.
• Review and approve method statements ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and quality procedures.
• Ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications drawings and international standards such as ASME API ASTM ISO and NFPA.
• Coordinate with site engineers supervisors and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance.
• Conduct material inspections and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and vendor documentation.
• Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Witness and document pressure tests hydrotests pneumatic tests and equipment functional tests.
• Maintain quality records including inspection reports checklists and test reports.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
• Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors during inspections and approvals.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC for Mechanical works in Oil & Gas / MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME API ASTM AWS).
• Experience working with ADNOC or major Oil & Gas clients is preferred.
• CSWIP / AWS / API certification is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of welding NDT material inspection and mechanical testing.
• Strong communication coordination and reporting skills.
