Senior Projects Engineer

Al Madina Agencies & Services LLC, a prominent player in the Oil and Gas industry based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a dedicated Senior Projects Engineer with mechanical expertise to spearhead crucial engineering and project management tasks. As a Senior Projects Engineer, you will oversee the entire mechanical engineering lifecycle, ensuring seamless project execution and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor mechanical engineering deliverables, budgets, and milestones throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, offer guidance to junior engineers, and liaise with clients, licensors, and contractors.

• Evaluate scope modifications, facilitate HAZOP workshops, and implement risk mitigation strategies for mechanical systems.

• Manage FEED, EPC, and detailed design phases while supervising static and rotating equipment packages.

• Ensure adherence to international and regional codes such as ASME, API, Worley, and ADNOC standards.

• Oversee vendor management activities and provide on-site construction management support.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the Oil and Gas sector.

• Proven track record in project management, particularly in handling FEED and EPC phases.

• Strong knowledge of international standards like ASME, API, and regional codes.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead project teams effectively.

• Proficiency in risk management, change control, and HAZOP analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
