Senior Project Manager Aircraft Developement

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for a permanent employment with a cutting-edge civil and military aircraft manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi.

The role of the Senior Project Manager will be to lead the development of a safe, innovative, reliable, and competitive light attack aircraft that is designed especially for asymmetric warfare zones and adaptable to the most difficult terrain and weather conditions. This aircraft will incorporate a superior carbon fibre structure and flaunts ground-breaking technology to deliver best-in-class versatility and transportability at the low operational costs.

In more details:

• Preparation of estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project,
  
• Provision of leadership for the teams in charge of development of the Design & Manufacturing (for mechanical structure, all systems, and the avionics)
  
• Preparation of the ground test and flight test program,
  
• Management the resources, the planning, the budget, and the Quality,
  
• Management of issues, risks and project changes request.
  
• Contribution to process improvement initiatives,
  
• Insurance that the whole program is aligned and on track in front of the Company Senior Management,
  
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment of management initiatives,
  
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
  
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
  
• Monitor team performance and complete performance reviews
  

Job is based in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

Requirements

Master of Engineering in Aerospace preferably

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Aerospace

Experience of new aircraft development

Experience in Project Management

Experience of work in a multicultural environment

Perfect level of English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
