Senior Project Engineer

A Senior Project Engineer in Dubai's high-rise construction sector oversees on-site execution coordinates multidisciplinary teams and ensures multi-story towers (typically G30 or taller) meet strict safety quality and schedule targets.

Job Role Overview

• Position: Senior Project Engineer (Civil / High-Rise Buildings)
• Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Operations: Manage and coordinate construction activities for high-rise or tower projects (G30 and above) focusing on structural frames and reinforced concrete (RCC) works.
• Team & Subcontractor Supervision: Direct site engineers foremen and external subcontractors to maintain daily productivity and schedule compliance.
• Technical Reviews: Inspect and review construction drawings shop drawings material submittals and method statements against local Dubai codes.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Liaise directly with consultants architects MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) teams and project managers.
• Quality & Safety (HSE): Monitor material testing (concrete steel) enforce Health Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and handle official site inspections.
• Problem Solving & Reporting: Identify site constraints or technical delays implement corrective actions and prepare progress reports for upper management.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or a closely related structural discipline).
• Experience:
  • 10 to 15 years of total building construction experience.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in high-rise or tower projects (preferably G30 or multi-floor high-rises in the UAE).
  • Previous experience working with a Main Contractor in Dubai/UAE is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of RCC structures formwork methods and structural/civil execution.
  • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and local building codes.
  • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD Primavera P6 or MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership communication contract administration and site-level problem-solving capabilities.
