Senior Engineer - Construction (Piping)
Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC Construction
Department: Construction / Project Execution
Lead piping construction engineering and resolve field interfaces to deliver fabrication installation testing and reinstatement in line with project requirements.
Review piping drawings isometrics specifications and installation work packages for constructability.
Coordinate fabrication spool delivery erection supports and tie in work with construction teams.
Track material availability work fronts and subcontractor progress against the project schedule.
Resolve field queries with engineering and maintain approved change and drawing controls.
Coordinate welding nondestructive examination and inspection activities with quality teams.
Review test pack readiness and support pressure testing flushing and reinstatement under approved procedures.
Coordinate interfaces with civil structural equipment coating and commissioning teams.
Support punch clearance as built records and system turnover while maintaining HSE requirements.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
8 years in oil and gas or petrochemical piping construction including 3 years in a senior engineering role.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
