The Staff Pad has partnered with the nations leading in-room technology provider and is seeking a Level 3 On-Site Technical Manager in Denver, Colorado. With over 45 years of experience in the hospitality, student housing, senior care, and MDU industries, our client services over 4,000 properties from the US, MX, Canada, Puerto Rico, and USVI.
You will play a critical role in existing and future projects. The TPM will oversee the daily project and field operations to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The TPM works closely with on-site Operations Manager and Director of Field Operations to meet overall strategy and goals of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Overall on-site project management
- Understand project budget, requirements, deadlines, and expectations
- Manage labor both internal and third-party
- Daily communication with on-site contacts, both written and verbal (GC, Customer PM, other trade on property)
- Daily updates provided to field operations manager both written and verbal that include current and forecastedstatus, as well as any potential delays or change orders
- Daily upload of pictures of each site included with daily updates
- Work on-site with techs to make sure all objectives are complete
- Coordinate all portions and expectations of equipment expended delivery dates
- Headend launch (MDF, IDF) Network equipment launch
- In-room technology install
- Overall quality control of each project. Ensuring all local AHJ, Bicsi, IBC, NFPA, and NEC codes are met, ensuring all quality of work is above and beyond our standards.
- Scheduling QC inspection with the field operations manager
- Scheduling and coordinating required inspections with AHJ and required parties on site (GC, Electrician, etc.)
- Communicate daily plan of action with tech one and tech two s
- Supervise and assist internal techs to ensure proper installation and meet deadlines
- Work, as needed to meet project deadlines, can include after-hours and off-peak hours as needed/ required
Requirements:
- 4-6 years experience in digital infrastructure and team leadership
- MUST be able to travel Monday through Friday
- Occasional weekend travel
- MUST have valid US drivers license
- MUST have reliable transportation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Spanish Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of all types of copper wiring Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, 25 pair, 50 pair
- Ability to dress and terminate racks

- Knowledge on all types of Fiber, fiber terminations, and fiber distribution
- Pull & install various fiber types
- Knowledgable in diverse types of fiber terminations
- Knowledge of PON, GPON, XGS PON
- Knowledge of PON distribution
- Read & comprehend complex blueprints for:
- Low voltage
- Fiber distribution
- Architectural plans
- Electrical plans
- Framing plans
- Roofing plans
- Reflective ceiling plans
