Resident Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Resident engineer is responsible for all planning aspects of a project. To implement and maintain project engineering records monitor and expedite weekly reports for accuracy and develop and perform quality control procedures.

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.

• In-depth knowledge of engineering technology building construction and design specifications.

• Co-ordination and knowledge of Permits/NOCs involved in execution of Site activities.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite GIS AutoCAD and other software

• Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.

• Competent in assessing interpreting and presenting survey reports and other critical data for stakeholders and shareholders.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Thorough knowledge of the UAE Building Code safety regulations and standards.

• Excellent interpersonal leadership and management skills.

• Active role in Site inspections for civil construction material and review of Shop drawings

• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency.

• Monitor project progress compliance with design specifications.

• Monitor work schedules and recommend mitigation measures as needed to meet project deadlines.

• Supervise and monitor detailed documentation of all site construction activities.

• Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes.

• Proven track record for managing personnel and material resources.

• Exemplary critical thinking analytical and complex problem-solving skills.

• Active listening and verbal/written communication skills.

• Dedication to implement new concepts and strategies.

• Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering construction or industrial buildings.

• Minimum 12-15 years of Construction experience in buildings and related infra projects in UAE.

• Experienced as Construction Supervision Consultant.
