Project Engineer-Piling
Department: Piling Division
Reporting To: General Manager / Project Director / Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all HSE policies PPE requirements and company safety procedures.
- Plan coordinate and supervise piling and foundation construction activities.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning executing monitoring and delivering assigned projects.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings specifications method statements and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and recommend corrective actions when required.
- Coordinate with clients consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal departments.
- Review drawings specifications BOQs and contract documents to identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Monitor productivity manpower equipment utilization and material consumption.
- Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of materials equipment and site resources.
- Supervise Site Engineers Foremen Surveyors and subcontractors to ensure quality and productivity.
- Attend project coordination meetings with clients consultants and management.
- Identify technical issues project risks and site constraints and implement corrective actions.
- Verify work quantities and measurements for progress billing and subcontractor payments.
- Coordinate inspections testing and approvals with QA/QC and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with project budgets schedules contractual requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain records of RFIs material approvals inspection requests method statements and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Support project planning resource forecasting project close-out and handover activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager Project Director or Project Manager.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of piling and foundation construction methodologies.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and contract documents.
- Strong communication coordination leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and project documentation.
- Good organizational planning and time management skills.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE standards applicable to construction projects.
