About the Role

This role is on a seasonal contract basis. As a Pastry Sous Chef you will lead and oversee the production and presentation of an extensive range of artisanal pastries and dessertsfrom gateaux and fine plated creations to celebration cakes and decorative workscrafted with creativity and precision to deliver memorable joyful experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency and high quality in the taste and presentation.

• To check all set-ups for restaurant and banquet functions.

• Propose new items and coordinates menu development.
• Participate in creating special projects themes festivals by conceptualizing and personally making decoration pieces for display.
• Monitor on monthly food inventory turnover and slow-moving items

• Ensure that purchasing receiving and all storage are efficiently handled and that the goods purchased conform to the hotels specification
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

About You

• Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene sanitation and HACCP standards.
• Passionate about food quality creativity and presentation.
• A strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts.
• Eager to learn grow and stay updated on new culinary trends and techniques.
