OSP Fiber Technician (Driving License Required) UAE
Location: UAE
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform single fiber splicing and ribbon fiber splicing on OSP fiber optic networks.
* Conduct OTDR testing fiber loss testing and troubleshoot fiber faults.
* Install terminate test and maintain fiber optic cables closures and distribution boxes.
* Read and interpret fiber network diagrams and splice plans.
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on OSP fiber networks.
* Ensure all work complies with quality safety and client standards.
* Complete testing reports and site documentation.
* Drive the company vehicle to transport tools materials and team members to work sites.
Requirements:
* Minimum 23 years of OSP fiber technician experience.
* Hands-on experience in:
* Single Fiber Splicing
* Ribbon Fiber Splicing
* OTDR Testing
* Experience with fiber fault identification and rectification.
* Ability to read fiber route drawings and network documentation.
* Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
* Good understanding of OSP fiber installation and maintenance.
* Immediate joiners currently available in the UAE will be preferred.
Note: Candidates without hands-on experience in Single Splicing Ribbon Splicing OTDR Testing and a valid UAE Driving License will not be considered.
