Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing on soil rockand construction accordance with approved standards and procedures
• Prepare test samples and specimens ensuring proper handling identification and storage
• Operate and maintain valid calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy precision and reliability of test results.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Support senior technicians and the Laboratory Manager in specialized testing and reporting.
• Participate in technical training and continuous professional development programs to build technical skills.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Laboratory Technology Civil Engineering Geology Geosciences Earth Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with testing standards and methodologies such as BS ASTM ISO BS EN and ISRM.
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
